Mortals

MORTALS is an abstract composition, based on the term ‘entanglement’ and inspired by the ‘superposition’ of quantum physics aspect as well - “movement of particles when it has no real-world equivalent” where it is “not here, not there, not nowhere, not everywhere”. The entire composition was created based on a spiritual level of thought. This was done by crafting a poem that is written with careful thought, serving as the story behind the work.

It was released as part of a personal project for Media Art Nexus module in NTU ADM. Using art to develop global awareness and to support cross-cultural audiovisual exchanges, this work is one of the artworks being showcased in NTU as well as in Gulbenkian Media Façade under the University of Kent in the UK.

From the first brainstorming session and initial sketches, all the way through the production process to the final animation, under tight deadline 'MORTALS' was released as part of a personal project for Media Art Nexus module in NTU ADM. This work is still being showcased in NTU as well as in University of Kent, UK.
